Words of the Parish Priest August 23rd , 2026

The Feast of Mary the Queen is celebrated on August 22, a feast instituted by Pope Pius XII in 1954. The Virgin shares in the glorious universal reign of Jesus Christ, for she is the mother of the One whose kingdom shall have no end, and she cooperated closely in the Redemption. For this reason, the Christian people have for centuries acclaimed her as their Queen and as the Mediatrix of all graces.
