Words of the Priest 08/24/2025

The short articles published in this newsletter are intended only to inform you of the events of the Catholic Church, what is happening in our parish, and some formation topics to strengthen our faith.
Today, I want to inform you and invite you to the first feast our parish will have, to celebrate its name: Holy Cross.
I remind you that the missal, which is the book the priest uses to celebrate Mass, contains some special celebrations and feasts for our faith, such as Christmas, Holy Week, and feasts of the Virgin Mary, such as Guadalupe or Fatima. The missal also includes feasts for Peter, Paul, and other saints. Likewise, the missal includes a special feast for the Holy Cross. Our parish bears that name, and for this reason, we are celebrating this feast in honor of our parish and the entire community that belongs to it. You are cordially invited to participate and share time as a community of believers. The feast will be on September 14th. It will begin with a bilingual Mass at 11:00 a.m.; the brothers from Marietta, a mission that belongs to this Holy Cross parish, will be invited. More information will be provided this August.
